Like you we would love to resume racing as soon as it is SAFE and ETHICAL to do so. Please be aware that once we do return to racing, the races may be put together and permitted at very short notice and therefore may have less support than you have come to expect of the ORRRC. We may run our first races with no awards, limited volunteers, and possibly even without official timing; however, we will not compromise the safety of our runners or volunteers. We will keep you apprised of any decisions made regarding our race schedule. We miss seeing you all and hope to be running with you soon. – The ORRRC Board of Trustees Current Race Status March 14 – St Patrick’s 5k: Canceled 15 – Sycamore 10-ish Miler: Postponed to August 15th, 2020 at 8am April 5 – ORRRC Marathon & Half Marathon: Postponed to October 25th, 2020 18 – Twin Creek 10k: now a virtual race! Check event page for details! 25 – Sugar Maple 6k: Postponed May 5 – George Rogers Clark Park 10k: Canceled 9 – Tie-Dye 32 Miler: Postponed 13 – Vandalia 5k: Canceled June 6 – Another Dam 50k: Postponed Information contained directly above supersedes information found elsewhere on this site, specifically the list of upcoming events (because we may have to keep the date listed on the "upcoming events" in order to keep the event-page and provide updates on the race). Other Messages Running Series: 200K No Way! With the uncertainty of the status of the races in the 200k trail series due to COVID-19, the series is subject to change or cancellation. Stay tuned. Updates from the series director will be posted here. Memberships Please be advised that your membership in our non-profit club is for our slate of races as they are executed, and there are no refunds (partial nor whole) for your membership because of COVID-19 (or any other force-majeure situation). The Ohio River Road Runners Club is a 100% all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Ohio Non-Profit club dedicated to promoting running and supporting the local running community in and around Dayton, Ohio. We are one of the largest (and we think BEST) clubs in the nation. We are known for our inexpensive, high-quality running events – many of which are free for members ($9 for non-members). However, some of our events incur additional costs which necessitate entry fees, which we try to keep affordable – these races include Splash and Dash Series, 50k/50 Mile Ultra Races, Half/Full Marathon, Lou Cox 5k, Ghost n Goblins 5k and Turkey Trot.
